CMT/MTV Casting in Omaha for The World’s Strictest Parents

August 27, 2009

Casting begins immediately and runs through Sept. 7th!

About the Show!

CMT documents the journey of two unruly teens from different families as they are forced to adapt to the rules and regulations of very strict host parents. Living under different standards from their families back home, the misbehaving teens are subject to punishment for breaking rules and skipping chores while the strict parents help them mend their ways.

What are you looking for?

Proud, structured Families:

Moms and dads, if you are proud of your firm family structure, have well behaved kids, and want to show off your unflinching strict parenting skills, the casting team would like to hear from you. This is an opportunity to show other families how to raise their children the right way.

Rebellious Teens:

Producers are seeking kids ages 15-17 with real issues of teenage rebellion. We want to help parents save their child from going down or continuing on the potentially destructive path of underage drinking, drugs, cutting class, sneaking out of the house, breaking curfew, etc. We pair the teens with parents who have strong family values, structured rules and expectations, and implement consequences for actions. Some of the types of families we used during the first part of the season were family businesses, families with conservative views, farmers, academics, eco-friendly parents, and parents who have ordinary or extraordinary circumstances.

Moms and dads, if you are concerned about the current defiant behavior of your teenager, the casting team would like to hear from you. This is a unique opportunity to get the help your child and your family needs and deserves.

How Do I submit?

If you think you have what it takes to be on the show please read the following.

1625 Farnam St.

What happens after I submit?

We review every submission we receive. However, due to the high volume of submissions we cannot get back to all of you.

If we are interested we will call you to ask you some basic questions and to verify your information. We will be getting back to the people we are interested in before September 7th.
